A beautiful area of farmland located in Berrinba will soon be home to new gathering place for Brisbane’s Karen-Burmese refugee community.
Our work with the Zion Karen Baptist Church community has been years in the making, and a design has been developed to reflect the community’s humble, friendly, and vibrant culture. The building will be truly multi-purpose and community-focused, providing a home base for the community, and allowing them to gather, celebrate, worship, cook, share meals, play sport, perform music and dance.
We’re delighted to have been along for the journey with Zion Karen, and look forward to seeing the project take shape soon!
