Novum’s initial exploration of master planning and architectural considerations at Rivermount College highlighted an opportunity to strengthen physical and visual connections across the campus, providing more useable, active and social external places, while also meeting the growing school’s need for additional learning areas.
While the brief focused on internal learning spaces, the College was keen to enhance external areas to encourage outdoor activities, learning opportunities, and a better connected, active school community.
The design has been driven by the College’s desire to provide large, light-filled, unencumbered internal spaces while also achieving a pedestrian-friendly, well-connected campus, bolstering the school’s welcoming culture.
