Set amongst the backdrop of a tropical oasis, Coolum Beach Christian College and it’s new Multipurpose Hall is soon to be a bustling focal point for the College and its community.
Novum have been working with the College, its teachers and leadership team, developing design concepts for the new specialist facility including a hospitality building and two indoor covered sporting courts.
This stage is a significant leap for the school as it makes space for modern learning, creating an area that will not only transform the learning environment but also elevate the College’s pedagogy within the growing Sunshine Coast region.

There is a large emphasis on sustainability, with the goal to be self-sufficient. The building will have no mains water or sewer connection, relying solely on tank water and a filtration system on-site, together with a full suite of solar panels powering the facility, making it an eco-friendly space.
A key focal point of the design was to illuminate how special the school grounds feel. Picture a timeless quintessential Queensland school amid a native forest. Our goal was to keep the regional feel of the school, focusing on indoor-outdoor learning and connecting students to the beautiful nature that surrounds the school.
We're thrilled to be working with the school and excited to see how this project will transform the school and the community. Stay tuned for more updates!
