Novum’s Josh Law becomes a Registered Architect!

Congratulations to our colleague Josh Law for recently becoming a Registered Architect (Qld)!

Becoming an Architect is a long, difficult, but rewarding process, where Architectural Graduates must demonstrate to the Board of Architects Queensland that they have at least 2 years’ experience, including taking projects through from beginning (Concept Design) to end (completion of Construction) and have knowledge of the various legal and contractual aspects of practicing architecture.

With the full support of Novum and his teammates, Josh has now logged well over 3000 hours of practice at Novum, covering 4 Units of Competency: Design, Documentation, Project Delivery and Practice Management, which contain 70 individual Performance Criteria. He has also subsequently successfully passed the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia’s written and interview examinations, culminating in Josh’s admission to Queensland’s Register of Architects.

Well done, Josh, for balancing the demands of your role with those of the Registration process and achieving this exciting and worthwhile milestone! We look forward to celebrating this milestone over lunch in the New Year!
